  Professor DeJong's teaching interests include financial accounting, managerial accounting, and microeconomics.   Professor Fethke has been the Dean of the Tippie College of Business since 1993. His research has been published in many of the leading economics journals including the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Bell Journal of Economics, the Journal of Monetary Economics, and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. He is a past recipient of the Excellence in Teaching award in the Executive MBA Program and for the past ten years has continued to teach strategic management and business policy to executive MBAs.

 
 
   
  Robert Forsythe

  Professor Forsythe was chairman of the Department of Economics from 1990-1994 before being named senior associate dean in 1994. He served as president of the Economic Sciences Association from 1993 to 1995 and since 1997 has been the associate editor of the Journal of Experimental Economics. He is an accomplished researcher with an international reputation in the field of experimental finance and economics. His work in the area has been published extensively in such prestigious journals as the American Economic Review, the Rand Journal of Economics, Econometrica , the Journal of Accounting Research and the Journal of Finance. He was cited in the Top 50 of the Dusansky-Vernon Profile of Individual Faculty Production, 1990-94 and has been named to the Who's Who in Economics. He is the 2002 recipient of the Iowa Regents' Award for Faculty Excellence.

  Professor Gaeth oversees the Full-time MBA, Evening MBA, and Executive MBA programs. His research focuses on models of consumer decision-making and marketing management for the service industry. Gaeth has published widely in marketing, retailing and decision-making journals and has consulted extensively with companies in the service industry, with a special interest in service quality measurement and improvement processes. He received the Collegiate Teaching Award, and Teacher of the Year award from the Executive MBA, Full-Time MBA, and Ph.D. students.

  Professor Lowe is known for his work in operations management, logistics, and optimization. He has also consulted for various manufacturing and service companies.   Professor Murry's teaching interests include marketing management, product management and consumer behavior. He is the recipient of this year's Executive MBA GREAT Instructor of the Year award. Among the corporations he has provided executive teaching for are ALCOA, AT&T, IBM, LTV Steel, and Samsung. He has also served as a Research Consultant to 3M, Du Pont, Transamerica, and Pizza Hut.

  Professor Sa-Aadu has served as chair of the Department of Finance for the past twelve years. Sa-Aadu's areas of teaching expertise are: corporate finance, real estate finance and investment analysis, fixed income securities and structured finance/asset backed securitization. His research interests include the fields of real estate finance and investment, asset-backed securitization, real estate investment trusts, and real estate asset pricing. Among the corporations and agencies he has provided consulting services to are: Alliant Energy/Wisconsin Power and Light, Vertex Financial Services (Tanzania), the Ghana Stock Exchange, the Ghana Banking College and the Federal National Mortgage Association.

  Professor Ye's research centers on interior-point algorithms and its applications to large scale and combinatorial optimization. His publications include a book, Interior-point Algorithm: Theory and Analysis, plus papers in several top journals. He has served several times on the VP Research's CIFRE (spell out so it is clear what CIFRE is) Committee as well as numerous College research evaluation committees. Professor Ye maintains an internationally recognized record of research.

  Professor Dooley's research program in food and agribusiness focuses upon strategic management, logistics, and quality management. He is an active presenter in programs sponsored by the Center for Food and Agricultural Business, and serves as faculty advisor to the Ag Econ Club.   Professor Downey has been instrumental in the development of a curriculum in which students can earn a B.S. degree in Agri-Sales and Marketing - the first such program in the U.S. Because of his outstanding efforts within his profession, Downey has received several recognitions, including four major teaching awards from Purdue University and two national awards from The American Agricultural Economics Association.

Professor Tyner has been focusing on agricultural trade and policy issues in developing economies for over twenty-one years. Tyner has extensive overseas experience in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe including short-term assignments in more than thirty countries. Tyner was responsible for building agricultural policy analysis capability in the Morocco Ministry of Agriculture.
